Week 12

3.19.13-3.25.13

Seeing all I had written I sat at our kitchen table numb. It was the first time in my life I felt Him with me at the table. The warmth that came from His smile smothered out all wonder about what was even happening. I was poised and ready to well… do what?

In my silence and with stained salty streaks down my face I was thinking “what now?” I had my Scripture (Bible) beside me and I heard Him whisper within, open up to Daniel.

Really, Daniel? Uh, okay.

I had read in part from the book of Daniel before but I didn’t tend to camp-out in the Old Covenant (Old Testament). At that point in my life I was not aware of the entire scope* which the book of Daniel holds but because He said so, I did.

*Daniel is a rich book in Scripture highlighting God being in perfect control of all, highlighting the significance of each of our lives, the ability to persevere in God, with God and of course it’s another necessary story of God’s amazing faithfulness.
