Week 31

continued from Week 30…

I then needed to skedaddle off to work. My work commitment that evening was a team meeting so I needed to pick up my dear friend Sarah on the way. She actually needed to use our drive time to make work calls so I didn’t have the opportunity to fill her in on all that had happened until the ride home.

She and her family were in a similar situation as us with regards to living on her sales based income (at this point Ryan’s business was covering its own expenses but not allowing for income yet). They also were actively seeking Jesus’ ways and trusting for His provision of all which was needed. The reality was it was hard for them and it was hard for us but even so… these hard days were for us so we celebrated the gift of having each other.

On our way home, just before she slipped out of the car to tiptoe her way into her house, she reminded me she had put a note in my purse when I had picked her up earlier that evening.
